    Dentro de su trabajo, Wylie recurre a una amplia gama de fuentes visuales, desde la historia del arte y el cine hasta los dibujos animados y el culto a las celebridades para sus lienzos de gran formato y con una gran cantidad de dibujos. Defensora de la espontaneidad en el proceso creativo, a menudo pinta o hace collages sobre secciones terminadas de sus lienzos en busca del efecto deseado. Este enfoque crea cambios dinámicos de escala y texturas superficiales variadas.
