Fundación Amparo y Manuel (AMMA) was created in 2003 by Dr. Amparo Espinosa Rugarcía and Mr. Manuel Serrano Espinosa for the purpose of establishing a series of non-profit educational, social and artistic projects inspired by the legacy of Don Manuel Espinosa Yglesias, father and grandfather of each of the founding members respectively.

Our mission is to promote the education, human development and well-being of Mexican men, women, and children. Our vision is to be recognized as a Foundation that unleashes human potential, and as a platform for the dissemination and promotion of artistic

creation and education.

We aim to promote Mexican cultures and traditions, to divulge contemporary art as a way of reflecting upon reality in order to generate ideas around aesthetic values and social issues. These objectives are met through the acquisition of works by emerging and established contemporary artists, by art loans to Mexican and international museums, and by the organization of exhibitions. AMMA also fosters education through scholarship and financial support programs.

AMMA’s projects are aimed at people of all age groups and socio-cultural backgrounds, they are for people who seek to improve their quality of life through physical and intellectual growth.
