    Sobre un cuadrado verde resaltan cuatro círculos blancos, colocados simétricamente en los cuatro cuadrantes. El aire pop y geométrico de la pieza adquiere su contraste en la irregularidad del acabado; hay pequeñas manchas e imperfecciones que remiten a la manufactura.


    Mullican utiliza signos, pictogramas e imágenes de la vida cotidiana para generar un sistema de lenguaje personal que emerge como modelo de una percepción cognitiva que el artista simboliza con colores. Sus obras de arte son pinturas de dedo, banderas coloreadas, pictogramas, performance de lecturas y experimentos de hipnosis sobre sí mismo y otras personas.
