    La obra de Shadi Al Attallah retrata la figura de una mujer de origen afrodescendiante recostada boca abajo en medio de una habitación.
    La artista saudí es conocida por sus pinturas en gran formato de figuras oscuras y dinámicas. En esos autorretratos catárticos, hace referencia tanto a su infancia en Arabia Saudita, como a la interjección de su extraña identidad mestiza. La artista examina la curación como concepto, y la relación entre la salud mental, el cuerpo y las prácticas espirituales.
