    El trabajo de Serrano está cargado de un gran sentido político que se desprende de lo personal, desde donde reflexiona sobre el machismo y la violencia de género. La artista ejecuta metáforas en torno al cuerpo, lo doméstico, lo femenino y sus distintas opresiones, con una diversidad de materiales que van desde acero, cerámica, telas, etc.
