    Debajo del imperativo “Don’t”, Un hombre desnudo se corta a sí mismo por la mitad del torso con una sierra. El gesto es crudo y la postura de los brazos transmite un virtuosismo propio de la danza. El tajo deja a la vista la cualidad maciza del interior del cuerpo, negra y de una pieza, como si se tratase de un objeto.


    Shrigley es célebre por sus mordazmente chistosas caricaturas de cruda composición. Su estilo distintivo y su irónico sentido del humor permean todas las áreas de su trabajo, desde sus dibujos, fotografías y pinturas hasta sus obras escultóricas, de taxidermia, animación o proyectos de spoken word.
