    Los dibujos, pinturas, esculturas y obras textiles de Lubaina Himid critican las consecuencias del colonialismo y cuestionan la invisibilidad de las personas de color en el arte y los medios de comunicación. Brillante, gráfica y rica en colores y referentes simbólicos, sus imágenes recuerdan pinturas de historia y dibujos satíricos británicos del siglo XVIII.
