Una mujer de espaldas en un interior. Está desnuda y con el pelo suelto, pero su cercanía a una repisa en la que se expone una jarra de estaño, un jarrón de cristal y un par de cuadritos sugieren que no se trata de una estancia tan íntima como un dormitorio o un cuarto de baño. El entorno, pues, enrarece la desnudez.


Rodríguez es un artista autodidacta, que a menudo emplea la fotografía como referencia para la creación pictórica de retratos de gran formato que muestran un misterio femenino e íntimo. Su técnica incluye el uso de pistola de aire, lápices regulares y de colores, pinceles, cuchillos, crayones y lijas, lo que desemboca en un tratamiento muy reconocible del color, pulido y versátil.
