A man shows his bare torso. His chest hair appears to be growing back after having been shaved. His facial expression is both provocative and somewhat hesitant. His left arm, completely covered in colorful tattoos, catches the eye. Both the features and the treatment of the tattoo’s shapes and colors give the watercolor an oriental feel.
Nadine is interested in depicting human complexity and the contradictions that exist within each individual. This psychological depth is technically conveyed through the free behavior of the pigments as they come into contact with water, in the successive application of layers.
