Biography

Born in 1981, Price lives and works in London, where he studied at the Chelsea College of Art and the Royal College of Art.

 

In his work, Price confronts preconceived attitudes toward representation and identity, seeking to emphasize the intrinsic value of the individual while subverting hierarchical structures. Recognized for his large‑scale figurative sculptures, Price draws our attention to the psychological embodiment of his fictional characters, highlighting nuanced interpretations of social signifiers and assigned value.

 

He has held solo exhibitions at institutions such as The Power Plant, Toronto; the National Portrait Gallery, London; the Royal Academy of Arts, London; MAC Birmingham; the Royal College of Art, London; Harewood House, Leeds; and the Yorkshire Sculpture Park, West Bretton.
