    OT.- Sodom and Gomorrah

    GÉNESIS 19: 1-29

Lot welcomed two angels into his home upon their arrival in Sodom. The men of the city sought to harm them, but Lot defended them. The angels led him and his family away, as the place was to be destroyed by fire—by God’s command—due to the wickedness of its inhabitants. During their flight, Lot’s wife looked back, causing her to turn into a pillar of salt. The tragic events that unfolded in these two cities—which symbolized sin in that era—reflect the ambivalent nature of the human condition.
