OT.-Jacob’s Dream

GÉNESIS 28: 10-22

Jacob travels toward Haran, and at nightfall, he sleeps along the way, resting his head on a stone. He dreams of a stairway reaching to the heavens, with angels ascending and descending; God tells Jacob that the land where he is lying will belong to him and his descendants.

Dreams are a method God uses to communicate with mankind; through Jacob’s dream, God renews the promise made to his forefathers, assuring him of His protection.
