    La obra de Sarah Lucas retrata el cuerpo de una mujer sin cabeza sentada sobre una silla. La escultura examina representaciones de género e identidad, pues sus obras se apropian de gestos lascivos que revelan lo absurdo de los estereotipos sexuales, en sus esculturas, Lucas subvierte la mirada masculina y los símbolos de lo que se considera femenino o masculino. Expandiendo los límites de la representación del cuerpo, al cuestionar la manera en que entendemos y nos relacionamos con aspectos como la sexualidad, la enfermedad y la muerte.
