Manel Anoro’s work depicts a colorful scene in which a nude woman is seen in a room in front of a window; in the background, a series of flowers can be seen. Anoro’s painting focuses on depicting settings that particularly appeal to him: neighborhoods in Cuba, villages in Senegal, and landscapes in Morocco or Menorca. The nude is another recurring theme in his career, and his most recent paintings in this genre typically depict two models posing together.
