This workshop was conceived as an intimate and collective space where embroidery becomes a language for exploring self-perception, pain, fears, ideals, and longings. Inspired by Penny Goring’s embroidered dolls—figures that embody vulnerability and resilience—the workshop explored the idea that what has been damaged can also contain a gesture of care and healing. 

Over the course of four sessions, each participant embroidered a small doll—or a series of symbolic fragments—that reflected their own emotional and bodily experience, echoing the recurring titles in Goring’s work: *Wrong Face*, *Wrong Heart*, *Wrong Feeling*, *Wrong Leg*. The goal is not a “perfect” aesthetic result, but rather a conscious and restorative process.

Session 1 – Presentation and Awareness: Introduction to Penny Goring and her use of embroidery as an emotional diary. Drawing exercises and selection of materials. First stitches: Which part of myself do I want to embroider first?

Session 2 – Embroidering Perception: Work on the doll or chosen fragment, focusing on the body–emotion relationship. Group discussion on the process and personal resonances.
