How does everyday life become a work of art?
Grayson Perry’s tapestry series The Vanity of Small Differences invites us to explore the narrative possibilities of weaving. Through weaving, embroidery, and textile assemblage, Luciana Esqueda invites us in this workshop to use fabric and thread to document contemporary identities, symbols, and experiences.
Through creative research, each participant will develop a contemporary textile work, appropriating this creative language to narrate their own reality.
Free admission with prior registration.
Limited spaces available.
