This workshop sought to foster collective reading and writing, drawing on the work of Penny Goring. It also explored the power of words that emerge from everyday life, the territory, and the diverse bodies that exist and resist on a daily basis. Through literature, participants explored corporealities as spaces that desire, write, feel pain, and find in poetry a bastion for understanding everything around them: violence, love, war, patriarchy, community, sadness, and pleasure.

In this workshop, we identified the points of connection between the work of Penny Goring (based on her two published poetry collections: *Fail Like Fire* (2022) and *Hatefuck the Reader* (2016)) and that of various other women writers, with the aim of pooling our feelings and knowledge, and then translating them into writing exercises to be shared with the group.
