Nativity: Glimpses through Time (2015): Dolores Olmedo Museum, Mexico City - November 28, 2015 to February 2, 2016

Amparo and Manuel Foundation (AMMA) presented the exhibition Nativity: Glimpses Through Time at the Dolores Olmedo Museum.

The exhibition featured the Amparo Espinosa Rugarcía Nativity scene, consisting of more than a thousand painted clay figures in a figurative-expressionist style, which bring to life 50 biblical passages from the Old and New Testaments.

This Nativity, displayed in the Fernando Gamboa Gallery at the Dolores Olmedo Museum, was created by artisan Felipe Nieva (Orizaba, Veracruz) during the first half of the 20th century and was accompanied by two contemporary multimedia works created specifically for the exhibition by Francisco Eme to complement the aesthetic experience.
