Dos mujeres posan junto a un gato naranja. Por su indumentaria y su postura, perecen estar en un entorno íntimo, que contrasta con lo ceremonioso y lo extático que transmiten sus ojos, tan abiertos. Los colores se distribuyen en grandes planos lisos.


La obra de Rebecca Brodskis se sitúa en la encrucijada de la realidad y la imaginación, el orden y el desorden, el materialismo y la espiritualidad, el determinismo y la libertad. La artista hace pasar a sus retratados por el filtro de la imaginación, con el propósito de que así queden reveladas las formas en que nuestro comportamiento se amolda a las expectativas sociales, con la consecuente represión de algunas partes de nosotros mismos.
