Una mujer sentada, desnuda salvo por las medias hasta medio muslo y calzada con zapatos de tacón, es rodeada por seres de apariencia ultramundana, como calaveras, en un retrato de aire simbolista. La caligrafía antigua contribuye al aire arcaico general.


El trabajo de Kahlhamer rastrea la influencia de las tribus nativas americanas en su propia identidad, mediante el cruce de sus experiencias vitales con la mitología. Su estilo expresionista y surrealista se inspira también en la música country, la cultura punk, la estética del grafiti y los cómics.
