Marked by contemporary or pop references, Akos Ezer’s characters display limbs so elongated and intertwined that they ultimately occupy the entire surface of his paintings. Ezer’s work offers an approach to the lives of his contemporaries through figures that seem to have absorbed the defining traits of their time, set within an uncanny situation that produces a humorous effect.
