A large group of people aim their cameras at the viewer of the painting. Some are also recording video. One of the subjects has paused her picture-taking and appears to be posing herself. As the rows of paparazzi recede toward the background of the composition, their features blur into the work's overall gray tone, punctuated only by a few orange details.
The creator of monumental fresco compositions, Kallima draws inspiration from both traditional Soviet art and graffiti. His work combines Chechen history, mythological imagery, sports, and entertainment to create figurative paintings that reflect the influence of Francisco de Goya’s graphic art.
