Amparo y Manuel Foundation presented the first solo exhibition in Mexico by Rebecca Brodskis, a French-Moroccan artist whose practice is rooted in the contemporary European context. This exhibition seeked to rethink the portrait as a universal language of the body and emotions, challenging us to look beyond appearances and connect with the shared human experience.
Brodskis’ work blends strangeness and familiarity and serves as a powerful reminder of art’s ability to foster empathy, dialogue, and community in an ever-changing world.
